New additions to the Heart shaped line are these finely scalloped edge Heart shapes that come in THREE different sizes. This is the Large 28mm scalloped heart shape punch by The Punch Bunch. This 28mm punch measures 1 1/8 inch tall and 1 1/8 inch across. This is a regular plunger style punch that is open on the underside so you can see where you are punching. The scalloped edges on this one add a delicate and intricate detail to the traditional heart shape. The three sizes of scalloped heart shapes nest quite nicely inside each other and of course, as with all the heart shapes, they make the most splendid

. Also shown are the three sizes available in this design. The rose shown is done with the smaller scalloped heart but can be done in any size. From left to right are 28mm, 22mm, and 17mm.
One other thing to consider when working with nested shapes....you can actually double punch them to make a frame outline shape. For instance...punch out one of the 17mm heart shapes, then choose a larger size such as 22mm or the 28mm, center it over the already punched out opening and punch again. This will result in a narrow frame type heart shape scalloped on both the inner and outer rim or edges. Use these to frame small photos, scrapbooking elements, or just to add some pizazz to your pages, cards, or notes.
Large
punches are commonly sized at or near 1 1/8 to 1 1/4 inch, either length or height. Large punches, when used alone, produce flowers that are usually just over 1 ½ to 2  inches across. They also are often used as centers for large punch shapes.
If you do scrapbooking, quilling, punchart, or card crafting, medium punches will add a lot to your art projects.
Medium punches are most often used to make single medium size flowers and work very well with card making. Large size punches can easily be combined with one size up or one size down, meaning medium or giant shapes.
The punched shapes can be used flat to create flowers for scrapbooking or can be molded slightly with a stylus to create realistic looking flowers for cards or to add as flowers to compliment your quilling. When molding the large shapes it is best to use the medium point stylus or the white molding tool, such as the one I sell in my store.
All the punches I sell are brand new; however I do open them and punch one or two shapes to make sure they work properly. This way I know that they are in perfect condition when they leave my possession. If you feel this testing will change the condition from new to used, please specify and I will not check yours. You will find these sheets listed under quilling paper sheets. I have sheets in jeweltones, glistening, pearlized, parchment, and regular colors and reasonably priced in assortment packs. The wider paper quilling strips, such as ¼ , 3/8, and 5/8 widths, are also ideal for use with the mini, small and sometimes medium size punches.
